The July 22 event, held at the Southpointe Golf Club, featured two speakers.
Phil Binotto, managing partner at Eckert Seamans, Cherin & Mellott, spoke about how the proposed Employee Free Choice Act and the Respect Act will change how employers conduct business.
Dr. Geno Pisciottano, founder and owner of The Wellness Chiropractic Center at Southpointe, led a seminar on seven steps to increasing your energy by 40 percent without any lotions, potions or pills.
Following the presentations, an informal discussion gave participants the opportunity to network and ask the presenters questions.
The nine-hole scramble followed. Finishing first was the foursome of Pat McCune, Lucas Piatt, Joe Clark and Geno Pisciottano. They received four custom-designed golf shirts, donated by Peacock Keller & Ecker, LLP.
The second place award went to the two-man team of Mike Kadrie and Ken Lovorn and third place prize to the foursome of Rich Barcelona, Phil Binotto, Betty Rainier and Fred Perrotta.
Last place finishers of Sam Bennardo, Mart Chepkevich and R.K. Rainier received gift certificates donated by MontiJewelers.
Skill prizes went to Mike Kadrie for longest putt, Joe Clark for closest to the pin, Nick Mahramas for longest drive and Geno Pisciottano for closest to the pin.
The drawing provided Patrick Murray with a dinner for two to Piccolina’s Restaurant, donated by Beaconsfield Financial Services, and Ed Cehelsky received a romance package to the Hilton Garden Inn, donated by Millcraft Industries.
